All for violence in movies...

I know myself I enjoy violence in movies because it adds either realism or more action and attraction to more types of viewers. My favorite movie that I'm in the process of watching is Saving Private Ryan one of the best violent historical movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMfUiwIjDdM
 There is another movie called Machete but it is quite inappropriate for school but it is the most violent movie I have ever seen and it has no point what so ever it isn't even any bit good.

Well there were many things in this study that had very much surprised, me like how teen watch more television then are on the internet. I know myself that I spend way more time console gaming then doing anything else. I do not text of course because I have no cell phone...I would like to find out how students at blackville school use cell phones, internet, handheld and console games, and television.

Well this first blog that I had found had to do with comedy and it was funny in some ways, the first post that I seen kinda made me think just how odd people can seem to be. What makes this somewhat more humorous is that this person tells a lot about themselves and that they have some problems.

This is a blog I found that many of the people around here can enjoy because its all about 4-wheeling. It is actually the official magazine blog of 3 different quad mags. there is a lot of information about the X-games and different trips that they had went on.

Literacy? Whats that?

Media literacy is learning to read and understand the media and the ways that it is put across to the public. Most of the media is owned by big companies that are exploiting the uses to gain large sums of money. One if the other videos said the media literacy is the ability to access, evaluate, create, and analyze . I was not here for the first day of the class so I don't know what I am to expect or what I am to learn.

The Future Is Nigh

Right now the only thing that I agree with these predictions is that Microsoft will connect with the Kenict because the Xbox is a Microsoft product and the Kenict is made by the Xbox/Microsoft company. I find that this site that is containing this information is very onesided to the apple inc name and thing that include it. The tablet will never overcome the laptop for the simple fact of the laptop having and easier to use everything. also the Television is being trumped out in the people that have cable T.V but for those who have satellite T.V it will never be beaten by the computer's live streaming which is being shut down quite quickly. Apple will most likely not dominate the cellphone market for the simple fact of cost, the IPhone cost more then most other Smart phone that are on the market. Netflix is a streaming site but u need certain things for it to go through, trust me I have Netflix at home on my PS3 (which the Xbox cannot compete with).
For the media section I think that most of these predictions would come true for the simple fact of people have a need to keep up with current events and these predictions are saying that this need will be met and exceeded. As for my own predictions well the only I have are for technology, well Apple can't stay on top for the tablet forever and the blueray discs will start into an incline sooner then we think.

Tranparency? really?

I find that discussion of the Wikileaks is pointless for the governments to try and stop because the people should know what is going on in their country. This "transparency" that they talk about is a good point there should be some transparency but to much and there could be a major problem, there would be things that are unnecessarily leaked to people, thing that we definitely should not know. We have the right to know but not everything should be known by the public what the government does, like the attack by the helicopter pilots on "armed" men was something that we needed to know because that is disgraceful for an armed service man to do something like that without any provoking by the "opposition".
If I had information leaked to me and I was pressured by the government to not leak the information i would give the information out only if it was something that the public should know about and then wait for the repercussions of those actions.
