Right now the only thing that I agree with these predictions is that Microsoft will connect with the Kenict because the Xbox is a Microsoft product and the Kenict is made by the Xbox/Microsoft company. I find that this site that is containing this information is very onesided to the apple inc name and thing that include it. The tablet will never overcome the laptop for the simple fact of the laptop having and easier to use everything. also the Television is being trumped out in the people that have cable T.V but for those who have satellite T.V it will never be beaten by the computer's live streaming which is being shut down quite quickly. Apple will most likely not dominate the cellphone market for the simple fact of cost, the IPhone cost more then most other Smart phone that are on the market. Netflix is a streaming site but u need certain things for it to go through, trust me I have Netflix at home on my PS3 (which the Xbox cannot compete with).
For the media section I think that most of these predictions would come true for the simple fact of people have a need to keep up with current events and these predictions are saying that this need will be met and exceeded. As for my own predictions well the only I have are for technology, well Apple can't stay on top for the tablet forever and the blueray discs will start into an incline sooner then we think.

Tranparency? really?
I find that discussion of the Wikileaks is pointless for the governments to try and stop because the people should know what is going on in their country. This "transparency" that they talk about is a good point there should be some transparency but to much and there could be a major problem, there would be things that are unnecessarily leaked to people, thing that we definitely should not know. We have the right to know but not everything should be known by the public what the government does, like the attack by the helicopter pilots on "armed" men was something that we needed to know because that is disgraceful for an armed service man to do something like that without any provoking by the "opposition".
If I had information leaked to me and I was pressured by the government to not leak the information i would give the information out only if it was something that the public should know about and then wait for the repercussions of those actions.

Another type of life....ALIEN!!!
- What is the story? This story is about these bacterium that uses arsenic to live and as there building blocks
- What is the establishing shot in the video? The Establishing shot is of the main reporter introducing the story.
- What is the introduction? The introduction is telling you what is going on which is saying about the life-form.
- Most likely "sources" are used in the report and they are making comments or being quoted. Name two of them. Many researches that actually were on the show, from NASA
- Based on what these two sources say, what questions do you think they were asked? Create two questions for each source that you feel they were probably asked. What are some of the things needed for life? Where are these life-forms found?
- Identify two different types of "B-roll" in the video. One of the Bacterium thats the only one.
- What are two other types of B-roll footage that you think they could have used (consider what is being said in the voice overs)? Where it was found.
- Identify two different voice overs and briefly list what facts are in each voice over. During the picture of the bacterium there is a voice over of a scientist.
- What is the closing to the video? No Closing it just ends.
- Who is the reporter and what is her/his tag at the end? It does not say her name but the science reporter is Bob McDonald

Soft news Vs Hard news Who Will Be Victorious!?!?
For soft news I have chosen a sports highlight on the Edmonton Oilers defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs to complete a sweep of the eastern teams. This is diffidently a human-interest part of soft news because it is part of sports. Look here for the highlights.
For a hard news story I chosen a breaking news story on Kathy Dunderdale being sworn in as 10th premier of Newfoundland. This is hard news due to the fact of it being about politics and an important part of politics at that. Front page of CBC news.
Second soft news article would be of LeBron James of the Miami Heat basketball team takes down the Cleavland Cavaliers, LeBron scored 38 points for a win of 118-90. This is soft news for the fact that it is a sports coverage. Here

FROMME!!!! >:(
I was utterly surprised at the way that Frum maintained her composure even though Mrs Lynette Fromme was being very, very irritating and uncooperative. If Frume had been more aggressive Fromme would have hung up the phone and it would have been impossible for her to get any information at all, the one question she asked that I had found extremely relevant was when she had asked about the mental state of her roommate before some of the happenings. One thing I had learned when listening to this interview was even though your interviewee may not cooperate you have to keep your wits and try your best to get as much and any information you can. As a young sports fan I would love to interview either Jackie Robinson or Muhammad Ali. I would want to interview Mr. Robinson because he was the first African-American to every play in the American League and was one amazing player at that. I would like to interview Ali because he was the worlds greatest boxer and was forced to give up his hard earned title because his belief forced him to deny his draft. I doubt that either would be a difficult interview except that one has died and one has Parkinsons.

You can't handle the truth!!
Well most news I have read I have not really thought on if it really is factual or not what I usually read for is if its interesting to me. With the news I hear I don't even listen to it half the time unless it pertains to the military and its involvements. To tell the truth I knew that there is a lot of journalists that fabricate news so they can possibly further themselves or slander a name of a person they don't like. I agree completely of Shafer's opinion because the people that did make these articles either were just out of journalism school or were and editor that had thought that they could "spice up" the story so that it could be interesting to readers, while with the story of Jimmy it was so real that it was tough to find out that it was fake till they asked for his address then learned of the falsehood of the story. I would agree that colleges and universities should only graduate those who believe that they can handle the stresses of the job and also they should only accept those who could handle it. Well I agree that there should be a ombudsman there because then there could be a way to have our papers be so very much more accurate.
